Tangerine Kiss: Tropical Lip Color
by Stephanie Simons
Papaya and tangerine lips are spirited alternatives to red, inspired by tropic locales such as Costa Rica, Brazil and Hawaii. If your skin is medium or dark, make the punch-bright pout your own with an orangey-red shade. Apply it with your ring finger and blot with tissue so the color isn’t too overwhelming. Peach is a more mellow alternative for fair skin; the effect is beautifully understated and warm, and you can build the color to achieve your desired look. Add dew-kissed allure with a dab of gloss in the center of your lower lip and experiment with a similar (albeit sheerer) hue on your eyes and cheeks—just make sure to play up only one feature at a time.
